 Hello!

Upcoming Testing: Next week is end of the year testing. Please email for any preplanned absences so I can adjust testing. Also please talk with your student about headphones. Some of our testing is on the computer and will require headphones.

Landmark shirts: LAF was able to purchase a shirt for each student! This is coming home today. If your student was absent you will get it when your student returns to school. We will were these shirts several times as a grade level.

Please wear them on MAY 1st (field trip), May 5th (field day), and May 19th.

Field Trip: MAY 1st (THIS COMING MONDAY)!

Field trips are a privilege and are used to extend our learning in a fun new environment. Students who receive 2 or more behavior emails before going on the field trip will not be able to attend. This is to encourage respectful and productive behavior in class and on the field trip. This will start from April 17th till our field trip on May 1st.

Students will need a SACK LUNCH on May 1st, which means all parts of the lunch (including the container) is able to be thrown away. My suggestion would be to pack it in a clear gallon sized bag and label ALL parts of the bag, lunch parts, and disposable water bottle. Please also check the weather and dress your student appropriately for the weather that day. Students will be responsible for all their personal items. DON'T FORGET TO WEAR YOUR GREEN LANDMARK SHIRT!

All chaperone spots are filled. If you would like to join us there you may. You will need to be at the front gates before 10:30 am.  You must join your student and their group. You may not take your student away from their group or purchase anything for students.

Field Day (May 5th** may change due to weather): This is a fun afternoon of outdoor activities! Students will receive a field day shirt at some point next week, this should be worn on field day with athletic bottoms. In the morning we will be doing some fun learning games and in the afternoon we will head outside for our fun outdoor centers. This time is a privilege and a break from our normal routine. Students can participate if they can continue to follow the rules and expectations. If students cannot make safe and wise choices then they will sit out for part or the whole time.

There will be activities that include water and students have the opportunity to get wet. Students can choose not to participate in these. Students who do get wet will not be able to change until the end of field day.
