Hello Families!
This was a great week in First Grade. This is an important communication!
Tis the Season:
As we are approaching the end of the calendar year, we have several upcoming holidays. Please discuss with your student what your family celebrates and your traditions. Also please discuss how other families may celebrate differently. Usually around this time of year my students start to have discussions about Santa and how he may or may not operate along with Elves on the Shelf. I am writing this so you can talk about this with your student ahead of time.
With the upcoming holidays I know several families that will be travelling. Please let the front office and I know AHEAD of time about any planned absences. This will help me plan and accommodate for students.
Reminders:
STUDENTS NEED TO HAVE CHARGED COMPUTERS! We are entering testing season and it is imperative that students have a computer that is charged.

This week will include several fun review activities, that include an author study of Dr. Seuss. I will send more details later. We will need some supplies to help us make that week (Dec. 13-15) magical and fun. Below is a Signup Genius of some supplies we will need. If you are interested in donating, please read carefully, and take notice of the due date and whether the item is "top secret" or not. We will have several surprise activities that will occur and don't want to spoil the fun for the kids.
